UsesIPA is used in many products, including cosmetics, skin and hair products, perfumes, pharmaceuticals, lacquers, dyes, cleaners, antifreezes, and more. It's also used as a solvent in rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizers, and "wet wipes".

First aidIf you come into contact with IPA, you should:
- Eye contact: Flush with large amounts of water for at least 15 minutes, lifting upper and lower lids.
- Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing and wash the skin with large amounts of soap and water.
- Inhalation: Remove the person from exposure and begin rescue breathing if breathing has stopped.
